What’s better than a specialty fashion boutique nestled in a historic mountain town? One that carries some of the most progressive, industry-defining brands worldwide. Kalifornia Jean Bar is just that, a family-run boutique with a passion for fashion. With brands like Golden Goose, Citizens of Humanity, Paige Denim, Frye, and Ulla Johnson, and locations in historic downtown Truckee, Squaw Valley, Tahoe City, and North Star, they’re redefining mountain fashion.

Despite a well-planned project with premium fashion and the incredible backdrop of Truckee, California, the shoot faced challenges. The King Fire spread rapidly southwest of Tahoe, bringing heavy smoke into the valley, and a rear-end collision on the last day didn’t help either. Still, we managed to capture some incredible product shots around Donner Lake and the northwest areas of Truckee.
